Episode 42

Anissa’s power allows her to judge people from their aura rather than their appearances. Veronica may be seen constantly wearing a perfect smile on her face, but her aura was always tinged with the blue color of sadness. ‘A person who is sad is not scary.’ It seemed that the sorrow that deeply haunted her was caused by what happened to her family. ‘Yuric talked nonsense when he didn’t know anything.’ What the children of Liatris knew was that she killed all of her family members in order to enter Lagrange, but that wasn’t the case at all. As a matter of fact, Veronica was someone who loved her family very much. ‘You idiots! Veronica is just really sad.’ It looked like she was about to cry anytime soon so I embraced her waist tightly. I felt her flinch at the contact as I hugged her. “I’m really not scary? Even though I beat up a person as if it was nothing just now?” “Hmm.” Veronica certainly didn’t believe me so I tightened my hold more and raised my head to look at her. It wasn’t unt

Episode 41

I rolled my eyes at the sight of Yuric, bashfully showing off his dagger skills. Suddenly, I remembered Dietrich teaching me how to shake a rattle with a built-in knife that suddenly pops out from inside it. ‘I can’t believe these brothers are teaching me how to dispose of enemies silently.’ I shuddered and wanted to refuse but was forced to swallow my refusal when I saw Yuric’s eyes shining brightly with joy. ‘Should I find a book about morality and read it?’ I realized that no matter how sweet and friendly Yuric is, his character setup was still that of a promising young villain in name and in reality. “Now, let’s go and see what you wanted to buy.   CHAPTER 3. The Young Villains’ Spring “Yuric.” “. . . . .” “Yuric!” “What! What is it this time?” I looked at Yuric with glistening eyes which made him feel uncomfortable. He started frowning even though he hadn’t realized yet that I only act cute whenever I had a favour to ask. “Can we go and play outshide?” “Huh?” He titled his head at my question as I hung on his arms. “You mean the garden, right?” “No. Let’s go outshide the palashe and play.” I could count with my hand how many kids had gotten out and left Dahlia palace ever since I was born. Dietrich often left Dahlia as well as Lagrange Castle, but once I asked him to take me along, he disappeared without even listening to what I had to say let alone give me an answer. ‘Because Dietrich doesn’t want to take me outside.’ It’s probably because he lost me once before. I pouted when I remembered Dietrich’s firm and cold refusal. I understood to a certain extent because most of all, he hated troublesome and annoying things. He didn’
